Michelle Gollobit, BA, MS OTR/L, CCH

homeopath - healthcare practitioner - advocate - educator -structural integration

Michelle has worked in a rehabilitative career as an occupational therapist (OT) for 16 years and is also Board Certified in Homeopathic medicine by the Council for Homeopathic Certification. (CCH)

Her journey to become a homeopath began with a simple injury with a foot fracture from running, a kind of fracture that normally takes a year to heal, and that meant eliminating most of her favorite forms of exercise and wellness.  It was then that after several months that she saw a practitioner who also utilized homeopathy and issued a remedy to be taken once daily for two weeks.  Although, skeptical, Michelle tried it and was amazed at the immediate relief and expedited recovery.

Hence began her search to learn more, which took her to Northwestern Academy of Homeopathy (NAH) based out of Minnesota, USA, which is the oldest accredited school for homeopathy in the country and is considered to produce amongst the strongest homeopaths in the country.

During her studies as a homeopath, Michelle was a bit conflicted of how to merge these two great professions of occupational therapy which allows hands-on treatment of the whole person and homeopathy, and then came her introduction to Bowen work and Tensegrity Medicine which are two specialized types of manual therapy targeting the fascial tissue through gentle (near homeopathic) facilitation of the ligamentous, neurologic, vascular, and lymphatic system which can and has had profound effects on the entire system of mind and body.

Each person is so individual, as is each treatment technique which is applied.

Michelle is passionate about healthcare, as it is Michelle’s belief that if one is well, then they are free to use their own unique gifts and talents, making it better for not only themselves, their families, but also for all of us as a community.

She speaks on topics such as treating and preventing acute illness at home, trusting our intuitive wisdom, use of manual therapy with exercise, and utilizing the basic tools of homeopathy for family and individual health.

Michelle has traveled the country far and wide (From Alaska to North Carolina) as a healthcare professional and is currently back in the Midwest, where she was born and raised.

Michelle enjoys a multitude of activities from hiking (usually with her canine best friend, Nyla) kayaking, reading, CrossFit, QiGong, and traveling the country and the world always in the quest for learning where it be for cultural, social, or educational pursuits, and is a self-professed all-around nerd.
